Las Vegas’ sports landscape has recently grown exponentially, including the Golden Knight’s success and the relocation of the Raiders to Las Vegas. Before the huge wave of major league sports, there were only two options for sports fans to choose from, UNLV Athletics and Las Vegas Aviators baseball.
The Aviators, formerly the 51s, are the longest-running professional sports team in Las Vegas. This year will mark professional baseball’s 37th season in Las Vegas, and it will represent a year of newness for the franchise.
New Name
After 18 seasons as the Las Vegas 51s, the team will be donning a new name, logo, and color scheme.
