Van Persie defends Manchester United's penalty record and hails 'world-class' taker Fernandes

Robin van Persie has defended Manchester United's penalty record and hailed Bruno Fernandes as "world-class" from 12 yards.

United were awarded their 21st spot-kick of the season in their Europa League meeting with Copenhagen on Monday night.

The last eight tie went to extra time after a goalless first 90 minutes, and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men ultimately needed help from referee Clement Turpin to make the breakthrough.
