Tim Weah has given himself a dream debut. After making his first appearance for Celtic FC in the 69th minute of their 4th round Scottish Cup match against Airdrieonians FC, the 18-year-old winger found the back of the net in Celtic’s 3-0 victory.
With Celtic already up 2-0 thanks to two Scott Sinclair goals, Weah subbed on for the goalscorer and immediately had an opportunity to score. He continued to apply pressure and in the 83rd minute it paid off. Off a wonderful pass by Dedryck Boyata, Weah sprung free for a breakaway on the net, where he slotted it home from about 15 yards away.
