SC Telstar announced that American midfielder Kyle Scott’s loan was terminated by mutual consent. According to technical director Piet Buter, “It did not become the desired cooperation for both parties.” The 21-year old has returned to Premier League super club Chelsea, where he has made a single senior appearance since being promoted to the first team in the summer of 2017.
Scott made 14 appearances with Telstar, scoring two goals, and was named to the league’s Team of the Week for Week 12. However, he last played for the IJmuiden-based club in November, and was held out of the last three Eerste Divisie matches.
