Sebastian Hoeness has paid tribute to his former team-mate Kevin-Prince Boateng, affirming that the former Ghana international played better than any other footballer with whom he shared a pitch.
Hoeness, the nephew of Bayern Munich great and former club president Uli, is now coaching the Bavarians' reserve team in the third tier of German football.
But in his early days as a player he shared time at Hertha Berlin with Boateng, who went on to represent the likes of Tottenham, AC Milan and Barcelona in a wandering professional career.
