Despite media reports suggesting Free State Stars defender Nyiko Mobbie has joined Mamelodi Sundowns, the deal is not yet finalised.
According to Mobbie's agent, Mike Makaab of ProSport International, the two clubs are still working on finalising a few issues, with the player keen to leave Stars after the club's relegation from the Premier Soccer League (PSL).
“It’s not concluded. Yes [it is promising that he will join Sundowns],” Makaab told Goal.
Goal previously reported the Brazilians were keen to sign the versatile defender, with the player having been linked Bidvest Wits ad Kaizer Chiefs.
