Football Kenya Federation (FKF) has cancelled Gor Mahia's anticipated friendly match against Al-Hilal of Sudan.
The two clubs had reached an agreement to meet next week for a friendly clash ahead of their respective Caf Champions League matches but now, the FKF, who were to approve Gor Mahia’s participation, has stopped the plan owing to a planned K’Ogalo Premier League clash against Tusker on the same day they were to face Al-Hilal.
“Reference is made to your letter dated December 8, 2020, with regard to a friendly match between Gor Mahia FC and Al-Hilal Sports Club, scheduled to take place on December 16, 2020, in Sudan,” FKF’s letter signed by the Chief Executive Officer Barry Otieno, addressed to Gor Mahia and seen by Goal, read.
