Everton are in pursuit of Norwich City's Ben Godfrey with the Championship club having received an official bid from the Toffees recently.
The Premier League side submitted a £20 million ($26m) offer for the 22-year-old centre-back with the bid also including a potential £6m ($8m) in add-ons.
Everton had previously been interested in Chelsea star Fikayo Tomori, who had been considering a loan spell that would bring the defender to Goodison Park for the season.
