VfL Wolfsburg officially announced the signings of Bryang Kayo and Kobe Hernandez-Foster to professional contracts earlier today. They will join the club’s U-23 and U-19 squads, respectively.
The Wolfsburg U-23 side finished this past season in second place in the fourth-level Regionalliga Nord, narrowly missing out on promotion to the 3. Liga. The U-19 squad competes in the Northern Division of the A-Junioren Bundesliga.
Kayo spent his youth career with the D.C. United Academy and was on the roster of USL clubs Loudoun United and Orange County SC. The 17-year-old was a member of the United States U-17 national team, trained with the U.
