Will Iker Casillas play football again after heart attack?

Having suffered a serious set-back, the Porto shot-stopper will have to make a decision regarding his future playing ambitions

The football world was left in a state of shock at the start of May when news broke that Iker Casillas had suffered a heart attack and had to be rushed to hospital.

Shock gave way for relief as it was confirmed that the Porto goalkeeper was in a stable condition and he was discharged from hospital less than a week after being admitted.

However, while the issue is now under control, it remains unclear whether or not the three-time Champions League winner will be able to continue playing football, with Casillas himself unable to say for sure.
