'We spoke and he apologised' - Mane said sorry for Liverpool handshake snub, reveals Klopp

The Senegal attacker was involved in a moment of controversy following the win over Manchester United, but it has been brushed off

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has said Sadio Mane apologised for his behaviour following the victory over Manchester United on Thursday.

Mane was a substitute for that encounter and refused to shake Klopp’s hand as he departed the field.

The manager said at the time he did not see it as a major slight, and is now happy the situation has been entirely resolved.
