The United States Men’s National Team will return to the nation’s capital. U.S. Soccer announced today that the team will open up CONCACAF Nations League play October 11th at Audi Field in Washington, DC against Cuba.
An announcement that has been rumored for a few weeks, Audi Field will host its second match in just a few months. The D.C. United home, which holds 20,000, hosted the USMNT’s match against Jamaica on June 5th, a 1-0 loss for the home team. They will hope to do much better this time around against Cuba in the beginning of the confederation’s newest competition.
