U.S. Soccer presidential straw poll: Kyle Martino the community choice

This weekend, U.S. Soccer will seek to elect a new leader as the presidential election takes place at their Annual General Meeting in Orlando. This week, we decided to poll the Stars and Stripes FC community to get your thoughts on who you preferred to see elected as U.S. Soccer president, as well as which issue was your primary concern.

After 2 full days of voting, here is who the community preferred:

Kyle Martino earned 48% of the SSFC vote, outpacing Eric Wynalda’s 30%. Hope Solo and Michael Winograd both received 5% of the vote, while Steve Gans, Kathy Carter, Paul Caligiuri and Carlos Cordeiro bringing up the back of the pack.
