Over 4 million football lovers in Tanzania watched the Aston Villa and Leicester City Carabao Cup clash as Mbwana Samatta made his debut.
Samatta, Tanzania's national team captain, debuted for Aston Villa on Tuesday night in the second leg of the Carabao Cup semi-final at Villa Park. The hosts progressed to the final after winning the tie 2-1.
It was the Egyptian international Mahmoud Hassan, commonly known as Trezeguet who scored a dramatic stoppage-time winner to ensure his side reached the final stage of the cup competition in Samatta's first game.
