The latest name to be linked to the vacant United States men’s national team manager position is a well-known one in world soccer.
According to the The Sunday Herald in Scotland, former Everton and Manchester United boss David Moyes is interested in becoming the new permanent USMNT head coach.
The report even goes as far as calling the 55-year-old Scottish manager a “leading candidate” for the opening.
Moyes was most recently helped West Ham avoid relegation from the Premier League last season before letting his short-term contract run out.
It’s hard to determine the plausibility of this rumor with all of the names flying around.
