Paris Saint-Germain extend their lead at the top of Ligue 1 courtesy of a 4-0 hammering of Marseille at the Parc des Princes. All of the damage was done in the first half as Mauro Icardi and Kylian Mbappe notched braces. Icardi scored the opener on the rebound after seeing his initial header saved by Steve Mandanda. However, he did head home with his second effort of the game after latching on to Marco Verratti's ball over the top. Mbappe then took over as he converted at the back post from Angel di Maria's cross, and then found the net with a powerful strike after combining with the Argentinian once more.
