Dutch second division club SC Telstar announced the addition of Chelsea midfielder Kyle Scott on loan. According to the club’s official website, the 20-year old American “has a personal agreement and closes next week if all the paperwork is in order.”
Telstar, based in the northern port city of IJmuiden, finished last season in sixth place in the Eerste Divisie with 61 points from 38 matches. The club provided a stable environment for American attacker Andrija Novakovich, who scored 19 goals while on loan from Reading. Telstar opens the 2017-2018 season against RKC Waalwijk on Friday, August 17th.
