Kakamega Homeboyz forced a 1-1 draw against KCB in a Kenyan Premier League match at Kenyatta Stadium on Saturday.
Kennedy Owino scored the opening goal for KCB before a minute lapsed but Kakamega Homeboyz fought back to bring the game level three minutes before the end of regular time.
Owino scored after just 49 seconds in Machakos. He received the ball from Bolton Omwenga, who darted with speed and precision through the left flank before unleashing the ball for Owino to tap in.
Luke Namanda’s intervention in the seventh minute of play prevented KCB from getting the second goal.
