BSC Young Boys announced the purchase of striker Theoson-Jordan Siebatcheu, exercising the option to buy. Currently on loan from Ligue 1 side Stade Rennais, his new contract lasts through summer of 2024. According to Ouest France, the transfer fee is €2.5 million.
“We are happy that we can continue to count on Jordy Siebatcheu,” sporting director Christoph Spycher told the club’s official website. “He has developed very well at YB and has become an important part of the team. Even if Jean-Pierre Nsame hadn’t been injured against Lucerne on Saturday, we would have drawn the option in Jordy Siebatcheu’s loan deal.
