Football supporters in Lagos were a massive part of last month’s Guinness Night Football Pan African Extravaganza.
Fans certainly played their part in a memorable evening which was a football supporter’s dream, as Guinness found the sweet spot between soccer action and modern Nigerian culture.
As well as performances from Nigerian prodigy Davido, Bebe Cool, Saletiel and others, supporters were also treated to a dance show and henna painting.
The highlight, of course, was the final of the Guinness 5-a-side tournament, the conclusion of a competition that had sought the best local talent in Nigeria, Uganda, Kenya and Cameroon.
