Tusker defeated Kakamega Homeboyz 3-1 in a Kenyan Premier League (KPL) match at Bukhungu Stadium on Wednesday to keep their dream of a top-five finish alive.
Goals from David Majak, Boniface Muchiri and Jackson Macharia helped the Robert Matano-led team to victory over Kakamega Homeboyz, who scored their only goal courtesy of a Maxwell Ravel strike.
Emery Mvuyekure had to be alert in the second minute of play when he stopped Allan Wanga from having a clear view of goal and dispossessed the Homeboyz striker.
