The United States Men’s National Team concluded its 2019 with a win against Cuba in the Cayman Islands. With the win, they finished atop Group A in the CONCACAF Nations League, earning a trip to the playoffs where they will face Honduras in the semifinals.
With last night’s win, an up-and-down 2019 is in the books as well. The USMNT finished 11-5-2 (W-L-D) in 2019, its first under head coach Gregg Berhalter. They had wins over Panama, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Guyana, Trinidad and Tobago, Panama, Curaçao, Jamaica, Cuba (twice), and Canada.
