Kenya's Cecafa Kagame Cup representatives Bandari have drawn 1-1 with Uganda's side KCCA at Huye Stadium in the opening match.
Abdalla Hassan gave Bandari the lead in the fifth minute but Ibrahim Sadam equalised on the hour mark.
Hassan capitalised on sloppy defence by KCCA to tap in Bandari's first goal of the tournament after a fine run by Yema Mwana and William Wadri.
Farouk Shikalo had to be on top of his game in the 11th minute when he parried away an overhead kick by Muzamir Mutyaba in the 11th minute.
