Ashley Young is on the verge of a return to the Premier League with former club Aston Villa, Goal can confirm.
The 35-year-old, who will leave Inter at the end of the month when his contract expires, had been attracting interest from Watford and Burnley before Dean Smith's side came calling.
The deal is currently being finalised and could be announced in the next 24 hours, with the former England international due to sign a short-term contract.
