Chennaiyin FC beat Abahani Dhaka Limited 1-0 on Tuesday at the TransStadia Arena in Ahmedabad to remain at the top of Group E in the AFC Cup 2019 after the first three matches.
An own goal scored by Wellington Priori in the 79th minute helped Chennaiyin pick up full points from their final home fixture of the AFC Cup.
John Gregory made just one change in the Chennaiyin starting XI which had defeated Manang Marshyangdi in their last match. Dhanpal Ganesh was introduced in the defensive midfield role in place of Germanpreet Singh.
