After a season of dwindling TV ratings, the A-League has ended the season on a much-needed high thanks to the grand final.
According to Mediaweek, the decider between Perth Glory and Sydney FC pulled in a combined peak audience of 406,000 on Sunday night.
A total of 215,000 fans tuned in via 10 Bold with a further 191,000 watching on Fox Sports - a figure which doesn't include streaming via Kayo.

That fact goes some way to explaining why Fox Sports' figures are down from last season when 217,000 tuned in via the broadcaster to watch Melbourne Victory beat Newcastle Jets.
