The north lanes of Route 8 in Torrington are closed because of a one-car crash, the state’s transportation agency says.
The road is closed between exits 45-46. The Department of Transportation said it learned of the crash about 3:30 a.m., which means the highway was shut down for more than 3 1/2 hours.
