Buddy the wayward beefalo is still on the lam in Plymouth but the town’s police union has set up a GoFundMe page for Buddy’s bail and donations have topped $4,000 after one day.
The union wants to purchase Buddy from his owner “to alleviate any worries the public may have about his welfare. There is a lot of public concern regarding what will happen to Buddy once he is caught,” read the post on the department’s Facebook page.
“Once in custody, Buddy will be released to animal sanctuary so he can live out the rest of his life in Beefalo luxury.
