The wife of an East Hartford man who led a Latin Kings fentanyl and heroin trafficking operation has been sentenced to three years in prison for her role in the gang’s drug activities.

Marisol Ferry, 27, was sentenced Wednesday by U.S. District Judge Vanessa L. Bryant in Hartford to 36 months in prison followed by three years of supervised release for helping distribute the gang’s narcotics, the U.S. Attorney’s Office announced.

Marisol Ferry’s husband, Nelson, also known as “300,” led one of the Almighty Latin Kings Nation drug trafficking schemes in Hartford’s South End that became the focus of a federal investigation in 2018 after a spate of violence related to the operation.
