Basil Smith, 29, is charged with 11 offenses, including murder, first-degree assault and first-degree reckless endangerment in connection with the death of 23-year-old Gregory Rafael Santos-Frias.
Smith is considered armed and dangerous and “currently has warrants from State of Connecticut’s Department of Correction / Parole for being an absconder from parole along with an active and outstanding warrant from Bridgeport Police Department for weapons charges,” police said.
