Police are investigating a shooting which left one dead and another injured Saturday night in Waterbury.
Officers arrived to the area of East Main Street and Wall Street at 11:39 p.m. and found a man who had been shot multiple times. Aid was given to the victim at the scene, though he died from his injuries.
Another man suffered a non-life threatening gunshot wound to the leg and was treated at a local hospital and released.
Evidence of shots fired was recovered from the area, and the Waterbury Police Department Major Crimes Detectives are continuing to investigate the incident.
