Wallingford doctor and patient face federal charges of obtaining, selling prescription drugs

A Wallingford doctor and one of his patients face federal charges of illegally obtaining and selling prescription drugs.

Dr. Anatoly Braylovsky, 49, and Jennifer Bousquet, 36, both of Wallingford, were each charged with possession with intent to distribute controlled substances and conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute controlled substances. Braylovsky also was charged with health care fraud and making false statements.

Braylovsky is an internal medicine physician who has operated the Family Practice of Greater New Haven, LLC, on North Main Street in Wallingford, federal officials said. His practice accepted patients insured by Medicare, Medicaid and commercial insurance plans.
