A Canton dog park has been vandalized, and pieces of chocolate, which can be poisonous for pooches, was found there.
Over the course of a week, signs at the park were torn down and squares of chocolate were planted in the mulch, said the park’s caretakers, the Friends of Canton Dog Park.
“In such a wonderful and caring community, it is shocking that someone would do this to their neighbors and pups,” they said in a Facebook post Monday. “We are in the process of adding additional patrols from volunteers and police and monitoring the site even more now.
