Connecticut state police said Wednesday that they responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident in Watertown on Tuesday night — and found a UPS driver had been killed in “an assault.”

Now, state police have identified another UPS employee as a suspect in what has become a homicide case.

Troopers arrived at the scene of Route 8 northbound, near exit 37, at about 10:36 p.m. Troopers found the driver of the UPS truck and called emergency services for the injured man. The man was taken a local hospital, where he died of his injuries, police said.
