Last night Morgan Tuck said she had not received clearance from UConn associate head coach Chris Dailey to reveal her intentions for next year even though her coaches and teammates have been referring to her in the past tense when discussing next year probably since the middle of January.
Today was supposed to be the day she made it official and when I asked her if it would take place at the championship rally, she said she wasn't sure. There was good reason for that as she made her announcement while appearing on ESPN's SportsCenter.
Tuck, who received my vote for Final Four Most Outstanding Player, is coming off an impressive postseason run and with her knee issues, the move makes total sense.
