UConn women’s basketball was without Geno Auriemma again on Tuesday night, but the Huskies had no problem taking down Wichita State 84-47. In their first ever trip to Wichita State, Chris Dailey led UConn to another victory and secured sole possession of the AAC regular season title for the sixth-straight season.
Napheesa Collier led the way for the Huskies with a season-high 32 points. She shot an efficient 13-15 from the floor, and added 12 rebounds for her sixth-straight double-double. On the defensive end, Olivia Nelson-Ododa excelled off the bench and tallied six blocks to go along with her eight points.
