UConn women’s basketball’s 2018-2019 non-conference schedule was released on Wednesday and the Huskies are not going to be playing at home much. Of the 14 games, just four are true home games (XL Center or Gampel Pavilion games) while another is at Mohegan Sun Arena. Besides that, the remaining nine games are all on the road or at a neutral site.
On top of that, the Huskies have another typically hard schedule. Six teams finished last season in the USA Today Coaches’ Poll, including two Final Four teams and five others that made the NCAA Tournament.
The Huskies play two exhibition games against Vanguard and Southern Connecticut before opening the season at home against Ohio State on Nov.
