After UConn women’s basketball coach Geno Auriemma ripped his team following the win over Tulsa, the Huskies responded with a dominant 113-57 win over the Temple Owls.
Katie Lou Samuelson sat out after injuring her ankle last game. In her place, Azura Stevens earned her fifth start of the season and finished with 13 points, five rebounds and three blocks.
Megan Walker had the best game of her young career, finishing with a career high 22 points along with six rebounds and five assists.
The Huskies were slow out of the blocks, allowing Temple to jump ahead 6-0.
