Geno Auriemma and the UConn Huskies received a commitment on Thursday afternoon from Saylor Poffenbarger, a 6-foot-2 guard from Maryland. She is the first commitment for UConn in the Class of 2021, making her announcement via Twitter.
Poffenbarger is ranked 21st in the ESPN recruiting rankings, whose most recent report on her said the following:
