UConn men’s basketball coach Dan Hurley announced that Sid Wilson’s suspension is over and he will be eligible to play on Tuesday against UMass Lowell. The St. John’s transfer was suspended before the season for a “violation of university policy” and missed the Huskies’ first six games.
While he likely won’t start against UMass Lowell, Wilson projects to have a big role still this season. He was a 4-star prospect coming out of high school and brings athleticism and 3-point shooting ability to the wing and stretch-4 positions. Wilson will compete will Tyler Polley for minutes at those spots.
