Four WNBA game days are behind us, with each team getting two games under their belt. Here are some of the biggest story lines from former Huskies in their first few appearances of the season:
Opening weekend by the numbers
Former UConn women’s basketball stars played in five of the six opening weekend games. Huskies made up 15 percent of the WNBA’s opening weekend starters and accounted for 13 percent of the minutes played during Saturday and Sunday’s games. They also combined for 130 opening weekend points.
Williams and Stevens excelling in Chicago
The Chicago Sky currently sit at 2-0 on the season.
