UConn in the Olympics: Canada women’s basketball bounces back with a win

Aaliyah Edwards, Kia Nurse and Team Canada bounced back in their second game of the Olympics with a 74-53 win over South Korea.

Nurse started and played a team-high 34 minutes but only scored nine points on 3-11 shooting to go with four rebounds. She’s struggled to find her shot so far in the tournament, hitting just 9-29 through two games.

Meanwhile, Edwards again didn’t factor into Canada’s plans with just 15 seconds of playing time. She saw just 16 seconds in the opener.

Next, Canada will wrap up the group stage on Saturday at 9 p.
