Though the UConn Huskies did not have a lot of success in the secondary, there definitely were numbers and some promising young talents. But with Jamar Summers, Tre Bell, and Anthony Watkins graduating, that depth is weaker after redshirt sophomores John Robinson IV and Aaron Garland announced that they will be transferring.
Robinson announced his decision via Twitter on Wednesday.
Garland made his announcement on Friday, also on Twitter.
Robinson spent most of the season on Randy Edsall’s two-deep but did miss two weeks as he was suspended after being arrested for DUI.
