With the new early signing period just days away, UConn football has hit the recruiting trail hard as they’ve pulled in a pair of commitments in the past week: DL Lwal Ugauk and DB Keyshawn Paul.
Ugauk was the first to commit, announcing his decision on December 13.
The 6-foot-4, 245-pound lineman hails from Edmonton, Canada where he played at Harry Ainlay School. He will be the fifth Canadian player on UConn’s roster, joining Hergy Mayala, Michael Tarbutt, Sheridan Lawley and Philippe Okounam. Ugauk is rated as a 2-star prospect by Rivals and also held an offer from Fresno State.
