UConn football picked up its latest recruit in the class of 2018 as defensive back Malik Banks committed to the Huskies. He announced his decision with a statement on Storrs Central.
Banks, listed at 6-foot-2, 185 pounds, hails from Wilmington, Delaware where he plays both cornerback and safety. He is most likely going to be playing safety for the Huskies but has the versatility for both defensive back positions.
UConn offerred Banks recently, on June 10. He also held offers from a number of other FCS schools including Central Connecticut State.
