Judging by the AAC preseason media poll, expectations going into Randy Edsall’s first season back at UConn are low. The Huskies have been picked to finish last in the AAC East in the preseason media poll.
The prediction comes as no surprise considering UConn won just a single conference game last season and finished the season on a six-game losing streak. With the coaching change and the new schemes, it’s fair to wonder if the players will adjust quick enough for this season.
However, if the team is able to pick up the schemes, there’s enough talent on the defense to make the team competitive at the very least.
