There’s nothing like some tight end news to start the morning, right? Well, here’s your fix; UConn football received the 2020 commitment of TE Brendan Heatherman Jr late last night.
The 6’4 240 lbs Heatherman is out of Mountain View High School in Stafford, Virginia. He’s clearly got the prototypical size for a tight end, but according to a Fredericksburg high school notebook, tore his ACL back in May, putting his senior season in jeopardy.
Prior to that, Heatherman was generating interest from Power 5 schools, including Wake Forest, Virginia Tech, and Virginia.
