UConn Baseball Wins Game 2 Over USF to Clinch Series Victory

UConn Baseball won the second game of Friday’s doubleheader at J.O. Christian Field with a 6-2 win over No. 23 USF.

Center fielder Troy Stefanski was the only Husky with multiple hits while right fielder Isaac Feldstein and shortstop Anthony Prato each had two RBI.

Starting pitcher Mason Feole threw seven innings of two-run ball, allowing just five hits. He walked one and tied a career high with eight strikeouts.

UConn started off strong building off the energy of Game 1’s walk-off win. With two on, Feldstein doubled down the left-field line on a broken bat, scoring left fielder John Toppa.
