After a 5-4 loss to Xavier start the day, UConn baseball redeemed itself with a 10-6 victory in the rematch to win the 2021 Big East Tournament championship at Prasco Park in Mason, Ohio.
Every UConn starter notched a hit in the final game of the day as RF Kyler Fedko (3-4, 2 RBI) and DH David Langer (3-3, 2 BB, 2 R) led the way. LF Erik Stock, 3B Chris Brown, and C Pat Winkel all had two RBI each as well.
Randy Polonia got the start on the mound for UConn (33-17) and opened things up with two scoreless innings.
