UConn Baseball Grabs Walk-Off Comeback Win Over Rhode Island

The UConn Huskies took a valuable win over Rhode Island, 4-3, after catcher Alex LeFevre hit a walk-off single up the middle Tuesday afternoon at J.O. Christian Field.

“[Rhode Island - #53 RPI] is an extremely good team and they’re really well-coached,” Jim Penders said.

Shortstop Anthony Prato and third baseman Willy Yahn also delivered RBI, both in the late innings, while right fielder Isaac Feldstein and Yahn each had two hits.

Husky starter PJ Poulin gave UConn four shutout innings and allowed only two hits in what was supposed to be a staff day.
